Qi Zhang is an accomplished scientist currently leading vector production at Oxford Biomedica since October 2021, focusing on AAV candidates selection, vector optimization, and pilot scale operations. Prior experience includes a role as Research Associate II at Homology Medicines, Inc., where contributions were made to gene therapy viral manufacturing processes. At DC Water, valuable collaboration took place with Columbia University and Ghent University, resulting in the development of innovative water treatment strategies and successful integration of anammox technology. Qi Zhang also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, evaluating water-rock interactions. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Michigan and Bachelor's degrees in Engineering from Shandong University and Environmental Chemistry from Umeå University.
