Ryan Dickerson

Associate Director, CMC Portfolio Lead at Oxford Biomedica Solutions

Ryan Dickerson has a strong background in the biotechnology industry, with extensive experience in gene therapy and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control) operations.

Ryan most recently worked at Oxford Biomedica Solutions as an Associate Director and CMC Portfolio Lead. In this role, they oversaw cross-functional teams and managed CMC program plans, identifying and addressing risks to ensure successful program development. Ryan also served as the primary point of contact for project management activities.

Prior to that, Ryan worked at Homology Medicines Technical Operations as a Scientist II. Ryan played a key role in the design and evaluation of purification steps for AAV (Adeno-Associated Virus) production, and led a team in the development of a platform AAV production process. Ryan also contributed to regulatory filings and provided technical support for downstream tech transfer.

Before joining Homology Medicines, Ryan worked at Biogen as a Senior Associate Scientist in Gene Therapy Technical Development, where they focused on the research and development of gene vectors and the production of AAV serotypes. Ryan also held roles as an Associate Scientist in both Development Support and Protein Biochemistry.

Ryan's earlier experience includes a role as a Design Transfer and Process Engineer at Luminex Corporation.

Ryan Dickerson attended Boston University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med. Ryan then pursued further education at Tufts University from 2009 to 2012, earning a Master of Engineering degree in Biotechnology Engineering.
