Ben Thomas

Ben Thomas has a diverse work experience in the field of biotherapeutics and proteomics. Ben started their career as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in proteomics at Oxford University in 2002 and later became the Technical Director at the Central Proteomics Facility. In 2015, they joined Adaptimmune as a Director of Mass Spectrometry and Target Identification and was later promoted to Senior Director in the same role. In 2019, Ben joined Oxford BioTherapeutics as the Head of Target Identification and is currently the Senior Director of External Innovation and Operations.

Ben Thomas completed their education at the University of Warwick, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D in Mass Spectrometry & Physical Chemistry at the same university from 1996 to 2000.
