Ian Scott

Ian Scott is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Dean of Education at Oxford Brookes University since March 2013, Ian also held the position of Associate Dean for Student Experience. Prior to this role, Ian was the Head of Academic Development at the University of Worcester from February 2008 to March 2013. Ian's academic career began as a Senior Lecturer at City University London from February 2002 to February 2008, followed by a role as Principal Lecturer in Ecology at De Montfort University from February 1996 to February 2002. Ian Scott earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecophysiology from Durham University, where studies were completed from 1987 to 1991.
