John Jakeman

John Jakeman is an experienced academic in the field of sports science, currently serving as the Faculty Head of Quality and Validations, Subject Coordinator for Sport and Exercise Science, and Lecturer in Sports Science and Coaching at Oxford Brookes University since October 2011. Prior to this, John was a Teaching Fellow in Strength and Conditioning at Abertay University from 2010 to 2011. John holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Exercise Physiology from the University of Exeter, where studies were completed from 2006 to 2010, and completed GCSEs at John Hanson School between 1994 and 1999.
