Miriam Johnson is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in publishing and creative industries. Currently serving as the Network Lead for the Creative Industries Research and Innovation Network and a Senior Lecturer in Publishing at Oxford Brookes University since January 2019, Miriam has also co-founded Dudley Editions, a technology company focused on enhancing audiobook experiences through innovative applications of AI. Prior roles include co-founding Lunchquest.co.uk, lecturing at the University of Derby, and a bookseller position at Edinburgh Books. Additionally, Miriam has contributed to various organizations such as the Scottish Book Trust and Scottish PEN, while holding a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Publishing and Social Media from Oxford Brookes University, along with a second PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh.
