Nicola Beer

Nicola (Nik) Beer currently serves as Principal Lecturer and Head of Digital Inclusive Curriculum at Oxford Brookes University since January 2022. Previously, Nicola held the position of Assistant Professor and Faculty Curriculum Change Lead at Coventry University from December 2017 to January 2022, along with roles such as Intercultural Engagement Manager and Learning Designer at The Open University from October 2013 to December 2017. Nicola's earlier experience includes positions as Learning and Teaching Librarian at The Open University, Librarian at Oxfordshire County Council, Evening Invigilator at The Bodleian Library, Library Assistant at Wheatley Library, and Local Teacher at EF Education First. Nicola earned a PhD in E-research and Technology Enhanced Learning from Lancaster University (2017-2023), a Master of Science in Library Science from City, University of London (2010-2011), and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics and English Literature from Oxford Brookes University (2006-2009).
