Jeremy Leonard

Jeremy Leonard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic research and consulting, currently serving as Managing Director of Global Industry Services at Oxford Economics since July 2012. Leonard oversees an industry team focused on model development, forecasts, and consultancy projects, with particular expertise in global competitiveness and the capital goods and automotive industries. Prior to this role, Leonard was Research Director at the Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP) for a decade, managing various research initiatives related to competitiveness and economic growth in Canada. Additional experience includes roles as an Economic Consultant at the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, Research Assistant to the President at IRPP, Lecturer in Microeconomics at McGill University, and Policy Analyst at the Committee for Economic Development. Leonard holds a Master's degree in Economics from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania.
