Ajay Nanda

Ajay Nanda brings nearly 20 years of experience in business development and credit management skills to Oxford Finance, specializing in loan structuring, portfolio management and underwriting senior secured leveraged loans to healthcare platforms.

Prior to joining Oxford in 2017, he managed a $1BN healthcare portfolio for American Capital, a middle market private equity firm where he focused on underwriting and managing syndicated leveraged loans for healthcare companies. He also served as Senior Vice President for Avenue Capital Group, a hedge fund where he was instrumental in building a $3.5BN leveraged loan portfolio; managing close to $600MM in healthcare loans. He has also held positions at Siemens Financial, HypoVereinsbank, Fuji Bank, and Gateway.

Ajay earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Berea College, and his M.B.A in Finance from The College of William and Mary – The Mason School of Business.
