Engineering Manager - Control & Isolation at Oxford Flow

Daniel Bryan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Daniel started their career at Maplin Electronics as a Sales Assistant, where they provided customer assistance and technical advice on various products.

Later, they moved to HYDAC Technology Ltd., where they worked as an Engineering Apprentice, completing a National Certificate, a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and NVQ qualifications in turning, milling, and fitting. Subsequently, they became a Design & Development Engineer, focusing on designing and testing hydraulic systems and components. Bryan eventually progressed to the role of Senior Design and Development Engineer, taking on additional responsibilities such as mentoring junior engineers and managing their workloads.

Currently, Bryan is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Oxford Flow, primarily working on the design and expansion of the ES axial valve. Daniel utilizes 3D modeling and detailed technical drawings, ensuring product consistency and compliance with safety standards.

Daniel Bryan has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering from the University of Northampton, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they attended the University of Bath and completed a course called Fluid Power 2 (FP2), focusing on Component Selection for Hydraulic Systems. In the same year, Bryan also received certification for manufacture from Sira Consulting after completing ATEX Training. In 2009, they participated in the National Training Programme for Apprentices & Undergraduates organized by the National Fluid Power Association. Prior to their higher education, Bryan attended Warwickshire College from 2007 to 2010. Daniel completed their secondary education at Chenderit 6th Form from 2005 to 2007 and Chenderit School from 2002 to 2005. Bryan's high school education took place at Icknield High School from 2000 to 2003.
