Giulia Poloni

Giulia Poloni, PhD is a Senior NGS Scientist at OGT, specializing in developing custom gene panels, optimizing NGS library protocols, and project management. Prior to this, Giulia worked as a Senior Scientist at Orbit Discovery, focusing on in vitro assays for peptide validation and optimizing the DNA-peptide display platform. Giulia's background includes postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford and Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, where Giulia analyzed genetic data for inherited heart conditions. With a strong educational background in Human Biology and Molecular Biology from Università degli Studi di Padova, Giulia has a solid foundation in genetics and molecular biology.
