Alex Tyrrell

Alex Tyrrell has a diverse work experience history, beginning in 2007 as a Fruit Picker at Peachcroft Farm. They then worked as a Kitchen Waiter at The Fox Inn in 2008. From 2009 to 2011, Alex was a Sales Assistant at Frosts Garden Centre Ltd. In 2010, they also worked as a Marking Assistant at Kumon UK.

In 2010, Alex joined Jessops as a Sales Expert, where they sold photographic equipment to the public and operated photo-processing equipment. They also received training from suppliers.

In 2012, Alex worked as a Freelance Photographer & Events Organiser at ELITE PHOTOGRAPHY LTD, where they organized public night-club events and photographed various events for club owners. This role allowed them to utilize their photography skills and develop business management skills.

In 2013, Alex held multiple roles. They worked as a Stockroom Assistant at Ted Baker, where they managed stock and serviced customer demands. They also worked as a Welder Fabricator at SST Technology, completing a two-year apprenticeship in welding and fabrication.

From 2015 to 2017, Alex was a Manufacturing Technician at Gatan Inc., where they were responsible for producing cryogenic transfer assemblies for the Electron Microscopy Industry.

Currently, Alex is working at Oxford Instruments as a Principal Manufacturing Technician. They are part of a large factory team producing cryogenic assemblies and systems for the Nanoscience Industry. This role involves helium leak testing, cryogenic assembly, TIG welding, and other manufacturing skills.

Alex Tyrrell has an education history that includes various qualifications in engineering, welding, fabrication, and photography. From 2013 to 2015, Alex attended Abingdon and Witney College and obtained a Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Engineering and an NVQ Level 2 in Welding & Fabrication. In 2010 and 2011, Alex studied at Abingdon and Witney College and pursued AS Levels in Photography. Alex's earlier education includes completing 9 GCSEs, including Maths and English, at Matthew Arnold School from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, Alex holds a certification in Overhead Gantry Crane Operation with Slinging and Lifting Awareness, obtained from Health and Safety Solutions Ltd in March 2017.
