Tom De Clerck

CFO at Oxford International Education Group

Tom joined Oxford International in July 2019 as the Group Chief Financial Officer. Tom oversees all aspects of financial reporting and planning as well as compliance, data and strategy and is focused on further improving and simplifying processes. He works very closely with the Group CEO to support the rapid growth of the business and represents the Group for all aspects finance at the Board.

Tom has been in international financial positions most of his career. He started with ING Bank in Belgium and subsequently worked in mostly private equity-backed businesses in shipping and logistics, travel services and sports and events. Tom has lived and worked in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. His last role was as Group CFO with Inchcape Shipping Services, an international marine services provider, where he worked with management and shareholders to complete a divestment of the non-core businesses followed by a refinancing with a syndicate of 3 banks.

Tom was born and raised in Belgium and moved to London with his wife and two teenage sons in 2012. In his spare time Tom likes travelling (having visited over 50 countries), being active in sports (mainly running and cycling) and spending quality time with family and friends which includes discovering all that London has to offer on culinary and cultural aspects. Tom obtained a commercial engineering degree studying in Brussels as well as a Master in Finance in Marseille, France.
