Maciej Malinowski

Quantum Architecture Team Lead at Oxford Ionics

Maciej Malinowski has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum computing. Maciej began their career in 2013 as a Research Intern in Spintronics at the University of Oxford, Department of Physics. In 2014, they worked as a Research Intern in Ultracold Gases at the Centre for Quantum Technologies and completed a Masters project in Quantum Computing with Trapped Ions at the University of Oxford. From 2015 to 2021, they were a PhD in Quantum Computing (Experimental) at ETH Zürich. In 2019, they became the Podcast Host of Hearing the Quantum, a podcast available at www.hearingthequantum.com. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Oxford Ionics as the Quantum Architecture Team Lead and Quantum Scientist.

Maciej Malinowski obtained a Masters in Physics from the University of Oxford in 2015, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Quantum Computing at ETH Zürich, which they expect to complete in 2021.
