Tom Harty is a co-founder of Oxford Ionics, a company that specializes in trapped-ion quantum computing. Tom has a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Oxford and has been a research fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and a senior researcher at the University of Oxford. Tom's research has focused on trapped-ion quantum computing, as part of the Networked Quantum Information Technology (NQIT) hub.
Tom Harty attended Winchester College before going on to the University of Oxford, where they earned a Master of Physics and Philosophy (MPhysPhil) followed by a DPhil (PhD) in Atomic and Laser Physics.
