Dave Cole began their work experience in 2011 as a Software Research Engineer at IRISYS, where they developed algorithms for low-cost pyroelectric detectors. Dave then moved to Meta Vision Systems Ltd in 2014, where they worked as a Software Systems Engineer, leading the development of software for 3D modeling of steel pipes. In 2016, they joined Vicon as a Senior Computer Vision Scientist before transitioning to Dynium Robot in 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd as a Senior Algorithm Researcher.
Dave Cole attended the University of Oxford from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering Science.
