David Connor

Associate Director, Web Development, Metrichor at Oxford Nanopore Technologies

David Connor has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and software engineering. David is currently working as the Associate Director of Web Development at Metrichor, a division of Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Web Developer at Metrichor.

Before joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, David was the Co-Founder of MoveBreak, a cloud-based fitness tracking software. David played a key role in developing and promoting the software, which aimed to enhance team collaboration and improve health and well-being through physical activities.

David also worked at the University of Cambridge as the Development Services Manager and Software Engineering Team Lead for the School of Clinical Medicine. David Connor attended Queen's University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering. In December 2015, they also acquired the PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner certification from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY.
