Dr. Alexander Rotmann's work experience includes various roles in technical support and management. Dr. Alexander currently works as a Technical Services Manager at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2014 to 2022. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, they held the positions of Manager Technical Support and Senior Technical Support Scientist. In these roles, they managed support teams, provided technical support and training to customers, and coordinated technical support training programs. Before Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dr. Rotmann worked at Life Technologies as a Technical Support Scientist from 2010 to 2014, where they provided remote technical support and customer training. Dr. Alexander also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Heidelberg from 2006 to 2010, conducting scientific research on antimalarial drug resistance. Dr. Alexander Rotmann completed their education at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. From 1992 to 1998, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biologie, allgemein, earning a Master of Science - MS. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2003, they obtained a Doctor of Science degree in Pharmakologie.
