James Brayer

James Brayer has a extensive work experience in the life sciences industry. James currently holds the position of Director, Strategic Product Management - Americas at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where they have been working since 2012. James has also held various other roles at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, including Associate Director, Market Development and Director, Segment Marketing (Life Science Research Tools).

Prior to their time at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, James worked at RainDance Technologies as the Global Manager, Market Development from 2008 to 2012. James was also a Product Manager at Helicos BioSciences from 2006 to 2008.

Earlier in their career, James worked at Affymetrix as the Manager, Field Application Specialist East Region from 1999 to 2006. James also held the position of Manager, Transcriptional Profiling Facility at Millennium Pharmaceuticals from 1994 to 1999. Furthermore, they worked as a Laboratory Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital from 1990 to 1994 and as a Research Technician at The Forsyth Institute from 1989 to 1990.
