Olle Nordesjö

Olle Nordesjö started their work experience in 2013 as a Chairman at Uppsala Model United Nation. Olle then became a Research Intern at Uppsala University, where they focused on in silico protein modeling and data analysis. In 2014, they joined SciLifeLab as a Research intern for a brief period. During this time, they also served as a Secretary at iGEM Uppsala. In 2014, Olle became a Board Member at the Swedish Federation of Young Scientists and later took on the role of Volunteer Mentor. Since 2016, they have been working at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, initially as a Development Scientist focused on DNA sequencing device improvement and data analysis. Olle has risen through the ranks and currently holds the position of Principal Data Scientist and Principal Scientist at the company.

Olle Nordesjö completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Biotechnology from Uppsala University between 2011 and 2016. In 2014 and 2015, they also attended the National University of Singapore, focusing on the field of Bioinformatics.
