Sarah Woods

Sarah Woods has extensive work experience in IT operations, services, and project management. Sarah currently holds the role of VP IT Operations & Services at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to this, they held positions such as Senior Director of IT Services and IT Programme Manager at the same company. Before joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Sarah worked as a Senior Project Manager at AstraZeneca, Bell Integration, Deutsche Bank, and Colt Technology Services. Sarah also served as an IT Programme Manager at SABMiller. Earlier in their career, Sarah held positions at Populo as a Finance Director / Operations Director, worked as a Principal Consultant at Freelance and Infact Ltd, and served as a Project Manager (Networks) at Marks and Spencer.

Sarah Woods began their education at Antwerp International School where they completed their International Baccalaureate (IB) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from 1970 to 1980. Sarah then attended the University of Warwick from 1980 to 1983 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in Applied Maths and Computer Science. In 1990 to 1991, Sarah attended Kingston University for Financial Services and Economics. Later, in 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Certificate in Accounting from The Open University.
