Allison Michaelis

Allison Michaelis currently serves as a Medical Director at Oxford PharmaGenesis, a position held since July 2019. Prior to this role, Allison worked at MedErgy HealthGroup as a Senior Medical Writer from August 2011 to July 2019, where responsibilities included managing scientific content projects and ensuring the quality of medical communications across various therapeutic areas such as immunology, respiratory, diabetes, and hemophilia. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Princeton University from 2006 to August 2011 as a graduate student focusing on bacterial cell biology, with a dissertation on protein localization, metabolism, and peptidoglycan synthesis. Allison began an academic journey at Rutgers University from 2002 to 2005 as an undergraduate student involved in research on cellular interactions and fertilization in nematodes. Educationally, Allison earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University in 2011 and a BA in Genetics from Rutgers University in 2005, following a high school diploma from Monroe Township High School in 2001.
