Sonia Azeggagh

Sonia A., Ph.D. is an experienced medical writer currently working at Oxford PharmaGenesis since August 2021. Previously, Sonia held the position of PhD researcher at The Open University from October 2016 to November 2020, focusing on the role of the Parkinson’s disease-related protein LRRK2 in autophagy and calcium signaling in cellular models. Sonia's research background includes roles at the ICM - Brain & Spine Institute and Inserm, where work centered on neurodegenerative diseases, neuroendocrinology, and biochemistry.
