Kavita Chauhan

Kavita Chauhan is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as Principal Consultant and India Health Hub Lead at Oxford Policy Management since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Scholar and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Penn Center for Social Norms & Behavioral Dynamics, and Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Kavita's longstanding tenure at the Public Health Foundation of India involved responsibilities as Program Manager and Adjunct Assistant Professor. Additional positions include a PH Leader Fellowship at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and an internship at the World Health Organization. Kavita's early career included advocacy work at Futures Group International LLC and program coordination at CARE India. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a Master of Arts in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia.
