Karen Laraccca

Karen Laraccca is an experienced educator with a background in both classroom instruction and specialized tutoring. Currently serving as an Early Intervention Tutor at Oxford Public Schools since January 2022, Karen is part of the SRBI team, providing small group math instruction and evaluating student progress. Previous roles include a long-term substitute for 1st grade at Trumbull Public Schools, a long-term 3rd grade teacher during the pandemic at Oxford Public Schools, and as a Math Tutor for Title I students at Stratford Public School. With a career that also includes over two decades as a Registered Dental Hygienist and various substitute teaching positions, Karen has shown versatility and commitment to education. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Bridgeport, earned in 1986, with further studies in 2016-2017.
