Travers Ward

Travers completed his Physics BSc at the University of Salford. After this, he started his Ph.D. in trapped-ion quantum computing and networking in the ITCM group at the University of Sussex. Here, he has published papers reporting the best-known Hong-Ou-Mandel visibility numbers for a trapped ion system, as well as the first practical demonstration of time-bin encoding with the same system.

Travers has joined OQC as a Quantum Engineer and is working with the quantum systems team.
