Radio Frequency Engineer at Oxford Space Systems

Badredin Turki has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering industry since 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they were a GIS Group Trainee at the Department of Food and Agriculture WA, a DVB-T Support Engineer at Aljeel Aljadeed for Technology, a Research Assistant, an Exam Invigilator, a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the University of Kent. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Senior RF Design Engineer at Omni-ID, where they designed, integrated and validated enhanced read range UHF RFID & NFC antennas for various applications and industries. Currently, they are a Radio Frequency Engineer at Oxford Space Systems.

Badredin Turki received a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Tripoli between 2002 and 2007. Badredin then went on to pursue an MSc in Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks from the University of Kent between 2010 and 2011. Between 2012 and 2015, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent. In 2014 and 2016, they also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and the Associate Teacher Accreditation -PGCHE from the University of Kent. In 2016, they were awarded a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy from The Higher Education Academy, and they are also a MIET from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
