Farhan Abdullah has worked in various roles since 2010. Farhan began their career as a Product Development Executive at Maybank Islamic Bank in 2010. In 2015, they moved to Affin Bank Group as an Assistant Vice President Product Development. In 2016, they became a Research Student at Kyushu Institute of Technology. In 2019, they worked as an Assistant Researcher, Arc Heated Wind Tunnel Facility at JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and as a Research Assistant at Kyushu Institute of Technology. In 2021, they worked as a Research Officer at Universiti Teknologi MARA and as a Space Division Director at SKYE Innovation Bhd. In 2022, they became an Analyst at SkyOrbital, and in 2023, they were a Mechanical Engineer at Oxford Space Systems.

Farhan Abdullah has a diverse educational background. Farhan began their studies in 2006, completing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from HELP University in 2009. Farhan then obtained a Level 3 Certificate in Islamic Finance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in 2010. In 2014, they earned a Diploma in Aviation Studies from IATA Training. From 2015 to 2016, Farhan Abdullah completed a Master of Science in Space Studies from International Space University. Most recently, they earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 2020.
