Ameera Juta

Ameera Juta currently serves as Managing Editor at Oxford University Press since April 2022, following a role as Copy Editor at DLonra Publishing from June 2021 to March 2022. Prior experience includes a position as Language Consultant at MPC Connect from July 2020 to June 2021, and Sales Assistant at Hannah Lavery from December 2017 to April 2019. Ameera also worked as a Drama Teacher at ISABEL BYERS SCHOOL OF SPEECH AND DRAMA from February 2017 to November 2017, and performed as an Actress with Lilliput Children’s Theatre Company Productions and in Mama Afrika The Musical in 2017. Ameera holds an Honours Degree in History from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, History, and Language and Communications from the University of the Western Cape.
