Rob MacDougall

Rob MacDougall serves as the Director of Community Safety and Chief Fire Officer at Oxfordshire County Council since October 2016, overseeing community safety, collaboration, prevention, protection, and emergency response. Additionally, Rob holds the position of Chair of the People, Leadership and Culture Coordinating Committee at the National Fire Chiefs Council since October 2022 and has been the International Development Programme Manager for Ghana at the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation since April 2011, enhancing extrication capabilities across Ghana. Rob's extensive experience includes previous roles such as Deputy Director for International Development, Secretary and General Assembly Representative for the IFE Thames Valley Branch, and various leadership positions within the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate certificate in Strategic Leadership from the University of Warwick, an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, and a degree in Zoology from the University of Nottingham.
