Eric Aasen has over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, having worked at GE Healthcare for more than a decade before joining Oxide Computer Company in 2021. At GE Healthcare, Eric held various roles, starting as an Edison Engineer in 2006 and ending as a Senior Architect in Electrical Engineering. In this position, they were responsible for working on advanced technology programs for next-generation medical imaging systems, designing power delivery architecture, and detailed designs that involved high-current, low-voltage power converters, as well as high voltage, low noise power supplies. Eric also led a multi-generational power architecture workout that resulted in executive funding to prototype an advanced multi-stage power converter together with their power design team in Europe. Eric also developed a common FPGA platform used on >10 circuit boards, using a standard FPGA pinout and core-design. At Oxide Computer Company, Eric is working as an engineer.
Eric Aasen attended Purdue University from 2002 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. No additional certifications are provided.
