Erik Anderson

Operations Manager at Oxide Computer Company

Erik Anderson has extensive work experience in the fields of engineering, program management, and logistics. Erik started their career as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer for the United States Air Force in 2006, where they led maintenance and sortie generation activities on 20 F-22s worth $2.8B. Erik later became a Brigade Operations Officer, coordinating training between five companies of over 2,000 Afghan National Army and US Forces, and forging relations with locals and Afghan National Army through training and humanitarian aid missions.

After leaving the military, Erik worked as a Manufacturing Engineer and Project Leader for Rhinestahl Advanced Manufacturing Group in 2012. Erik then moved on to Donaldson in 2019, where they worked as a Development Engineering Manager and Engineer-Team Lead. In their roles at Donaldson, they managed the development, integration, and test of critical range safety systems for spacelift launch, and managed project cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Most recently, Erik joined Oxide Computer Company in 2021, where they work as an Operations Manager. Throughout their career, Erik has demonstrated strong leadership skills, overseeing teams of up to 205 people and leading large-scale logistics and modernization projects worth over $1B.

Erik Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2006. Erik then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Systems Engineering at Colorado State University from 2011 to 2013. Erik obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2013.
