Sean Klein has held various roles in different companies. Sean started as a Software Engineering Intern at Cisco Systems in 2013. The next year, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Google where they developed the first version of the Android Flashstation Chrome App. In 2015, they became a Tech Lead Manager at Google, specifically for the Native Client Team. Sean was responsible for all things related to filesystems and storage for the Fuchsia Operating System until 2019. Sean built multiple filesystems such as MinFS and blobfs, created a Fuchsia VFS layer to simplify filesystem creation, and developed block drivers. Sean also provided standard library support in multiple languages such as C/C++, Rust, and Go. In 2020, they worked as a Tech Lead Manager for Surgical Devices at Verily Life Sciences. Sean provided guidance and support to their team to ensure smooth delivery of projects. Currently, they work as a Software Engineer at Oxide Computer Company.

Sean Klein completed a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014. Sean continued their education at the same university and earned a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2015. No additional certifications have been listed.
