Jonas Bialopetravičius

Jonas Bialopetravičius has held several positions in the technology industry since 2010. Jonas began their career as a Research Engineer at Neurotechnology, where they worked extensively on the company's general object recognition engine SentiSight and its object tracking subsystem. This included major performance optimizations, starting from high level algorithm work, to hand-tuning assembly. Jonas also worked on improving the recognition engine's accuracy, and introduced a novel way to recognize objects by their shapes. In 2016, they took on the role of Junior Research Scientist at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC). From 2015 to 2017, they were a Lecturer and Doctoral Student at Vilniaus Universitetas / Vilnius University. Finally, in 2017 they became a Cofounder and CTO of Oxipit.

Jonas Bialopetravičius obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Astrophysics from Vilnius University in 2019. Jonas also earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Vilnius University in 2015 and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution in 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2011.
