Djamil Omar Said is a Field Scientist at Oxitec since April 2023. Previously, Djamil served as a Microbiology Analyst at LANAA (Laboratoire national d'analyse alimentaire) for a brief tenure in July to September 2019. Djamil completed a Master's degree in Food Science and Engineering at Shanghai Ocean University from September 2018 to December 2021 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Geology, specializing in Biology/Biochemistry, from Université de Djibouti between September 2014 and June 2017. Djamil also attended Shenyang University from September 2017 to June 2018.
