Tara Salley

Tara Salley has extensive experience in the field of molecular biology and clinical applications, currently serving as a Senior Clinical Field Applications Scientist at Illumina since September 2015, where technical support is provided for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) products to clinical customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Previous roles include various positions at Abbott Molecular from April 2011 to September 2015, focusing on infectious disease and FISH-related products, where training and troubleshooting were key responsibilities. Prior to that, Tara held a lab manager position at Northwestern University, and had an academic background as a biology instructor and graduate student researcher at Northern Illinois University, where research concentrated on cancer biology and molecular techniques. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and two Master's degrees in Biological Sciences.
