Nurul Hamidi

Nurul Hamidi is a seasoned research scientist specializing in molecular biology, currently employed at Oxitec Ltd since April 2022. Prior to this role, Nurul served as the Interim ePCR Section Supervisor and Laboratory Operative at UK Biocentre from January 2021 to April 2022. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Technician in the Genetics department at the University of Leicester from September 2009 to June 2010, where responsibilities involved DNA synthesis and cloning. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Medical and Health Care Studies from Swansea University (2003-2009), an MSc in Molecular Biology from Swansea University (2001-2003), and a BSc in Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester (1998-2001).
