Shavini Fernando

Shavini Fernando is the Founder and CEO of OxiWear. Prior to OxiWear, they worked as a Recruitment Officer for English for Heritage Language Speakers, a Lecturer for ICFAI University, and a Web Development Consultant for Georgetown University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. Shavini has also served as an Operations Coordinator for Maker Hub Georgetown University.

Shavini Fernando has a master's degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University, a Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate - Emphasis in Leadership from the Executive Education / Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an MBA in International from Edith Cowan University. Shavini also has a Grad Dip in Computing from UNSW and a Bsc in Computing from the University of Portsmouth. Additionally, they have an Advance Level (A/L) in Maths from Good Shepherd Convent Kandy and an Ordinary Level in General from Good Shepherd Convent Kandy. Shavini also has certification from the Momental Foundation in the Mistletoe Research Fellowship Startup Collaboration Program, Golden Key International Honour Society in Honers Certification, and Lynda.com in CSS Fundamentals, Foundations of Programming: Fundamentals, and HTML Essential Training.
