Bradley Jardine

Bradley Jardine is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing and executing projects related to Central Asian affairs, international relations, and media. Currently serving as the Managing Director of the Oxus Society for Central Asian Affairs since April 2020, Bradley has successfully overseen government grants and programming linking researchers across Central Asia and the United States. Previous roles include Special Project Manager at Coda Media, Inc., where Bradley developed a transcontinental podcast series, and Visiting Lecturer at the Foreign Service Institute, teaching courses on China's engagement in Central Asia. As a Research Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Bradley's work on supply chains in China's Xinjiang region has gained significant media attention. With a robust background in journalism, including positions at Eurasianet and The Moscow Times, Bradley has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing understanding of economic and social dynamics in the region. Bradley holds a Master of Management Science from Schwarzman Scholars and advanced degrees in Russian and Central European studies from the University of Glasgow.

The Oxus Society for Central Asian Affairs is a DC-based non-profit organization dedicated to fostering academic exchange between Central Asia and the rest of the world. The Oxus Society: Provides a platform for early career researchers, practitioners and established academics to present their work to a broad audience by publishing research on the politics, economics, cultures, history and societies of Central Asia; Compiles original datasets and develops analytical tools to help advance understanding of the latest developments in the region; Organizes events for scholars and members of the public; Hosts resources for educators and researchers; Organizes workshops focused on research ethics, methods, data analysis and publishing for researchers working on Central Asia.
