Kimberlie Massnick, PhD, is an accomplished academic and practitioner in the field of criminal justice. As the Founder and Director of the Institute for Cold Case Investigations since August 2018, Kimberlie has led efforts to review and solve cold cases, collaborating with higher education students and public criminal justice professionals alongside law enforcement. Kimberlie also serves as an Assistant Professor and Master Instructor of Criminal Justice at Indian River State College, where the Alpha Phi Sigma, Pi Beta Iota Chapter was founded. Additionally, Kimberlie is a True Crime Media Commentator for Oxygen Media, host of the "Murder and Mysteries with Massnick" podcast, and a Public Defense Investigator for the 19th Judicial Circuit Courts in Florida. With a diverse education background including a PhD in Criminal Justice from Nova Southeastern University, Kimberlie integrates extensive knowledge and experience in forensic criminology and victimology into both academic and practical applications.
