Brett Kropf

Brett Kropf, CFA, CBV, currently serves as the Director of Corporate Development at OYA Renewables, where responsibilities include strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and project financing within a company that has developed over 2GW of solar projects across Canada and the US. Prior experience includes Associate Director at OYA Ventures, contributing to investment lifecycle processes in venture capital focused on climate change solutions, and a progression at OMERS, culminating as Manager of Valuations, overseeing quarterly valuations and strategic planning for a diverse portfolio of private equity and infrastructure assets. Early career roles involved asset liability management at Manulife, quantitative analysis at MCAP, and financial analysis at Sun Life Financial, alongside foundational work at Benderbrook Farms. Brett holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, earned in 2018.
