Raghav joined Oyla from IBM Research where for 18+ years he was a senior researcher with interests in the areas of signal processing, computer vision, and machine learning. His significant projects at IBM included the exploratory cognitive computing project - a quest to engineer mind-like intelligent business machines by reverse-engineering the computational function of the brain, and also client-driven projects on fashion retail visual search and monitoring of large-scale data centers. He has authored high-value patents and publications over the years. Raghavendra Singh received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
