Oze
Meghan McCormick is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in innovation and economic development. As Co-Founder and CEO of Oze since 2018, Meghan has developed a platform that enables banks to profitably lend to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Concurrently, Meghan has been spearheading Dare to Innovate, a youth-led movement aimed at eliminating unemployment in West Africa through investments in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Previously, Meghan served as an Innovation Strategist at Doblin, focusing on solving complex business problems, and as a Community Economic Development Advisor for the Peace Corps, where the "Dare to Innovate" movement was initiated in Guinea. Educationally, Meghan holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University.

Oze
Oze is a platform that equips small business owners in Africa to make data-driven decisions to improve their performance, tap into networks, and access capital. Oze’s platform is comprised of two components. On one side is an mobile app for a small business owners that aggregates and analyzes transaction data to push context-specific recommendations and reports. On the other side is a portal for financial institutions that combines the app’s crowdsourced data with alternative data sources to assign a credit risk score to each Oze user. Through the portal, banks can source and support a small-business loan portfolio.
