Chelsea Haupt

Chelsea Haupt, PhD has over 12 years of professional experience in the research and technology industries. In 2010, they began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Department of Chemistry, where they employed single molecule spectroscopic techniques to study the structure and dynamics of complex systems. In 2015, they became the Director of Digital Content at McGraw-Hill Education. In 2018, they took on the role of Manager, Digital Workplace Program Lead at Avanade, and a Product Manager at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2), where they developed and executed product vision for semanticscholar.org, a free AI-powered research tool for scientific literature. In 2021, they became a Senior Product Manager at Everprep, and in 2022, they took on the same role at Ozette Technologies.

Chelsea Haupt received their Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2010. Chelsea then went on to receive their Master of Science (M.S.) in Physical Chemistry from the same institution in 2012. In 2015, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Washington.
