Greg vander Velde

Greg Vander Velde has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Greg started their career as a Prototype Model Maker/Machinist at Booty Design/Trakker Corp. Greg then joined Johnson and Johnson as an Engineer, providing engineering and managerial support to the Personal Products Division.

After that, Greg held various roles at Alberto Culver, including Director of Global New Product Development/Supply Chain, Manager of Operations/Supply Chain for the Nexxus Launch Team, and Manager of Corporate Facilities and Environmental Engineering. At Alberto Culver, they established and managed a Global NPD Stage Gate development process and led the launch of the Nexxus Hair Care Brand.

Greg then joined Unilever as Director of Global New Product Development/Supply Chain, where they integrated Alberto Culver's innovation pipeline with Unilever's Personal Care Division. Greg collaborated with cross-functional teams within Brand Development and Supply Chain functions to drive the development of new products and market expansion opportunities.

Next, they worked at Wrigley as a Consultant for New Product Development, where they provided professional consulting services and support for the company's NPD process and project management systems. Greg developed a resource modeling tool to optimize the allocation of key resources for new product introductions.

Greg then joined The Kraft Heinz Company as Director of Commercialization and Product Portfolio Lead. Greg implemented and led a Portfolio Management Review process for the Kraft Foods Cheese & Dairy Business Unit, ensuring the right programs were resourced and progressing through the stage gate.

Currently, Greg is Vice President of Strategic Development at Ozinga Ready Mix Concrete Inc. Greg provides leadership and support for growth strategies, oversees capital investment programs, and focuses on enhancing communication and integration across divisions and business units.

Greg Vander Velde attended Purdue University Northwest from 1985 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
