Tore Hopen

Non-Executive Director at Ozo Innovations

Tore Hopen is a Norwegian business executive who currently serves as Non-Executive Director at Ozo Innovations. Tore has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including stints as Chairman, Partner, Head of Corporate Finance, and CEO.

Hopen began their career in 1993 as an Executive Officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Tore left the Navy in 1997 to join JPMorgan as an Associate. Tore worked at JPMorgan for two years before moving to Storebrand Bank ASA, where they served as CFO for five years.

In 2006, Hopen left Storebrand Bank to become CEO of SEB Privatbanken. Tore held this position for less than a year before moving to Handelsbanken Capital Markets, where they served as Head of Corporate Finance for Norway.

Hopen left Handelsbanken in 2010 to become a Partner at Jarlsberg Partners AS. Tore held this position for nine years before becoming Chairman of JO Invest AS in December 2016. Tore held this position until March 2020, when they became a Non-Executive Director at Ozo Innovations.

Tore Hopen received their MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University. Tore also attended the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and BSMA.
