Jen Alverson Maher

Jen Alverson Maher has had a varied career in the education and customer service industries. Jen began their career in 2000 as a Customer Service Representative for Synchronicity Mastering Services. In 2003, they became an Administrative Assistant for PACE Correspondence School and a Dance Instructor for Ketchikan Theatre Ballet. In 2010, they began working as a Dance Instructor for Uintah School District. In 2017, they began working as a Middle School Math and Science Teacher for St. Marguerite Catholic School. In 2019, they became an Artist In Residence for The Garage Art Studio, a Professional Development Specialist/Curriculum Developer for Ozobot, and a Curriculum Developer/Customer Experience for Ozobot. Finally, they have been the Owner - Tutor for TicklebellyTutoring since 2016.

Jen Alverson Maher has an education history beginning with Fort Walton Beach High School from 1985 to 1987. Jen then attended Brigham Young University from 1987 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Composite Dance. Finally, they attended Weber State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn since 2018, including Measuring Learning Effectiveness (2022), Agile Instructional Design (2022), and Elearning Essentials: Storyboarding (2022). Jen also has an Advanced Tutor certification from the College Reading and Learning Association.
