Rick Suero has extensive work experience in various roles related to network operations, IT management, project management, and civil engineering. Rick started their career in 1986 as a Senior Engineer at the Department of Interior and DPWH, where they developed programs of work for road construction projects and monitored project implementation. From 1990 to 1996, they worked as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager at the Ministry of Works, Power and Water, managing road and highway construction projects and training local engineers. Rick then joined All Around Contracting Inc. in 1996 as a Project Manager and Chief Estimator for civil works and road infrastructure projects. Rick joined OZZ Electric Inc. in 2001 and held roles as an IT Manager, overseeing network infrastructure and system administration, and as the Director of Network Operations, responsible for IT policy formulation and disaster recovery systems.
Rick Suero obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Saint Louis University, where they completed their studies from 1979 to 1984. In 1997, they pursued further education by earning an IT Diploma in Business Development from the Information Technology Institute, dedicating a year to this program until 1998. In 2000, Rick attended Xincon College, focusing on networking and earning a CCNA certification.
