Nicky Wang

Nicky Wang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Beginning in 2003, they worked as a contractor for Barco. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a contractor for Netacom BVBA, where they were involved in projects related to web-based therapy courses and a workout club membership management system. In 2005, they worked as a contractor for KU Leuven, building a reading tutor app for the Speech Recognition & Synthesis Department. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Java Developer for Emakina on projects for Base, a telecom company in Belgium. In 2007, they joined IBM as an IT Specialist, working on various products for ATB Financial. In 2008, they joined Online Business Systems as a Consultant, working on projects related to professional development budget systems and a customized agent desktop for Sempra's Call Center. Also in 2008, they joined P2 Energy Solutions as a Principal Software Engineer, where they played a key role in designing and developing various products for the upstream oil & gas industry. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in a range of technologies such as Java, JavaScript, web servers, databases, and software development tools.

Nicky Wang holds a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven, which was obtained from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering at Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven. In addition to their formal education, Nicky Wang has obtained certifications, including the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in June 2013 and the "Sun Certified Java Programmer" from Sun Microsystems in September 2005.
