Carolyn Lerew, MA, SPHR, has extensive experience in human resources and has held various roles in different organizations. Carolyn is currently the Director of Human Resources at the PA Chamber of Business and Industry. In their previous role as the Director of Human Resources at the York Community Progress Council, they were responsible for developing and implementing training programs, establishing core competencies, and ensuring compliance with organizational goals and regulations. Prior to that, they worked at AHEDD as a Human Resources/Recruiter, where they focused on recruitment and training, particularly for individuals with disabilities. Carolyn also served as the Area Manager for York/Adams Counties at AHEDD, where they developed relationships with employers and guided individual employment plans. Additionally, Carolyn has been involved with professional organizations such as York SHRM and YWCA. Earlier in their career, they worked at The Art Institute of York - PA, where they strategically planned human capital investments and set performance management standards.

Carolyn Lerew, MA, SPHR, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Marymount University. Carolyn then went on to pursue their MA degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Senior Professional in Human Resources from HRCI in December 2004 and COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera in June 2020.
